This major exhibition at Goldsmiths University's St James Hatcham Church Gallery explores the twilight world of human/machine creativity in contemporary art, including installations of video and computer art, artificial intelligence, robotics and apps by twenty-five leading artists including well-known international artists, Goldsmiths staff and students.

The international media art exhibition FIELDS will take place at the Arsenāls Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art. The exhibition is one of the key events of “Riga 2014 – European Capital of Culture” programme. Exhibition FIELDS is curated by Raitis Smits, Rasa Smite and Armin Medosch (Austria/UK).

The exhibition FIELDS will introduce to the role of art in modern science, technology innovation and social change. It will feature historical art works from the collections of European museums and galleries which trace parallel paths of art, scientific inventions and media technologies in the 20th century. Visitors will be welcomed to meet the most recent tendencies in the search for innovative approaches and forms in the 21st century art practices which address sustainability issues from various perspectives.

Amongst the exhibits is KAYAK LIBRE by Manu Luksch.

The Centre Pompidou and the Bibliothèque Publique d’Information (BPI) are paying tribute to Chris Marker, not only through his films, it goes without saying, but also by exploring the path of his inspirations, friendships and encounters. At the heart of this journey, the exhibition includes installations and multimedia works from the Centre Pompidou collection, together with his films and videos, and a reading room at the BPI. It is in this context that FACELESS, Manu Luksch 2007, is shown on 4 Nov 2013, 20:00, alongside Stopover in Dubai, Chris Marker, France, 2011, presented by Christa Blümlinger. Cinema 2.
