exercise # 3

The E-Media Centre of the Eesti Kunsti Akadeemia presents three new works by students. The works have been developed rapidly over four days of intensive workshops, led by Manu Luksch and Mukul of ambientTV.net, London. The workshops focussed on the boundaries between the public and the private; and the mediation that occurs all the time, everywhere in an age of increasing surveillance and data mining by states and corporations.

The artists used surveillance technologies including miniature wireless cameras. The works will be displayed on the electronic billboard on the EKA building at Tartu mnt. 1, and streamed online from 19.00 to 22.00 on 18 June 2003.
